    How to Access Windows Live Hotmail in Windows Mail

    I am on 3 brandband and want setup my email up on Windows Mail, I cannot sent email... any help.....

    You need to use your ISP's SMTP server for outgoing mail. Look on the 3 Broadband site for the SMTP settings.

    Eh, last I checked, you cant.


    Hotmail is one of the few providers I know that doesnt support POP or IMAP, they want you to log on and see their adds, not use a client.

    The most common response Google is throwing up for error 0x800CCC7D is that it means the SMTP connection doesn't support SSL. Try switching it off in the account settings and try again.
    Eh, last I checked, you cant.

    They enabled this quite a while back, first for subscribing customers but later for everyone.
