Does anyone know where I can get DAP spray for CHEAP? Well not cheap I mean for €20 like it is in the UK as opposed to almost double the price here?:mad: I need it for a trip to the vet in Cork on Monday so don't think I'll have it by Friday evening if I order it online today :(

Does it work btw? I had the cat one and the cat set up camp beside it the whole time it was plugged in! :pac:

I know you said you wouldn't get it online on time for Monday but if you don't find any shops to buy it in then keep this website in mind. http://www.vetuk.co.uk/dog-behaviour-adaptil-dap-for-dogs-c-837_2 I got feliway from them and it was much cheaper than the shops.

Don't find the DAP works at all really, much better with travel anxiety drops to be honest. Depends how your dog is in the car really.....is it stressful or sickness you have an issue with?

He's fine in the car but he'll be afraid of the vet so I was thinking of trying it. I have some Kalm Aid tablets but he has to fast. Maybe I'll try some rescue remedy. I don't want to spend €35 unless I k iw it's gong to work.

This site is cheaper than most, although it's a while since I've shopped around for DAP. This link brings you to diffusers, collars and spray:

Definitely the reviews for DAP are mixed. Some people swear by it, others find it seems to improve things to some extent, whilst others notice no improvement. But the worst that can happen is nothing... although I have heard of a very, very occasional dog seemingly reacting badly to it, though the link between the bad reaction and the DAP was not necessarily conclusive.

I'm going to ask the guys at daycare about it tomorrow and I'll just get it there or at the vets if they don't have any. As much as it pains me to spend the extra cash lol but needs must I guess :D Last time he had to be sedated because he was so nervous of the vet - we had to walk him around for 10 mins until it kicked in -the vet said we'd know when it was kicking in. Sure enough 10 mins later my little baba was walking around and his legs were all out of time with each other :D
