Hi

I am at planning stages of setting up my own business. Part of my business will focus on selling sports merchandise. However I had hoped to use some of my own designs but use club logos, team names etc in some cases.
Does anyone know what the legal issues and copyright laws are around this. I have seem some shops selling "unofficial" items so I wasn't sure if this was legal or not. If it is illegal would you know how I would go about obtaining licensing aggrements from football clubs etc

Contact the clubs, talk to them, discuss what you want to do, and take it from there.

It will save you a lot of hassle should you go ahead with your project.
