    Hi Folks

Im getting no Sky signal through HDMI cable. This just happened suddenly. The cables seem to be securely plugged in. I can get Sky through the AV input, but now I have bad HD signal. I just thought I'd ask here before ringing Sky (!!!).

    thanks

have you checked the settings on the sky box and your tv?
remove the scart lead from the sky box .

Did any1 change the output of the HDMI? Try connect via scart and drop the output to 720p and see will it work on HDMI if it does then turn it back up to 1080i...if not try and change the HDMI cable as it may be faulty. The cable sky supply's with the box for free are rubbish.

The cable that Sky supplys is not rubbish as I like a fool bought a cable for over a 100 euro and their is no difference in picture quality.

They are indeed cheaply made, and spending 100 euro on a cable is not going to necessarily improve your picture quality.
