    Hi,

I am looking for a second hand "sturdy" coffee table/unit to hold a huge old TV...
Where is the best place to look/lost likely to find one??
    Thanks

    Hi,
The Simon shop in Shantalla can be a good place for a look.

You may have to go a few times before you get lucky but they have some good pieces sometimes...

You could try Not New Trading in Ballybane, too. It's almost opposite McDonaghs, on the hill between Tuam Road (opposite Monaghans) and the Ballybrit roundabout.

or try the SVP furnniture shop on Merchant's Rd. Open Weds and Fri only I believe. And the Simon Shop as someone mentioned above, open Weds-Sat I think. Both good if you've the patience to go back a few times before finding what you want.
