Just curious, under what conditions will this track your phone?

If a thief takes my phone and turns it off..then puts their sim in and turns on, will tracker still work?

What if they putbtheir sim in, and they can't get past the start up screen as they don't know my swype pattern to unlock the screen, will it still work?

Under whatbconditions ( assuming phone has just been robbed) will it not work? Obviously when turned off, but anything else?
