    size is

    That is the problem
it is not a standard size. as far as I know.
he said it was an in between size sort of,
The 315 I would say is mm which equals 12.4016"

Correct - metric tyres.. I think only Rover and BMW tried it.

Unless you're an originality nut, ditch those metric tyres. They can be had, but cost a bomb.

Much cheaper to find imperial rims and get cheaper tyres for it.

The rims are an odd size aswell, 95mm bolt pattern.

True, but they're not really 95mm, they are more 95.25mm because they are old money 3 3/4" PCD.:p

Metro rims came in Imperial also, hence the suggestion.

ford in their wisdom decided that it'd be a great idea on some mk2 granadas also. Anyway, for the tyres it's probably going to be an order from UK job, or put non metric wheels and tyres on it

Maybe it would be worth picking up a set of alloys for it that have more ordinary size tires? Metric tyres can turn out to be expensive and difficult to source.

Thanks for the replies lads but I am sure this guy would change the wheels as a last resort. he wants to keep it original as it is only a collector thing with him.
i think i saw some for sale in Slovakia the other day.. Gonna look back there now.
