Cold Cream Pot Lids

I found this cold cream lid in my dads shed. What's the value.

I threw it up on ebay as people seem to collect these alot.

Any info on this would be great.

In that condition its value would be very small..also its not from any of the more collected manufacturers eg Bewley and Draper,Holloway etc.

Pot lids are collected but as with bottles, the market is swamped with poor-quality pieces in poor condition and as such are worth very little.

For example..here's one in excellent conddition for 4 pounds sterling

    Hi Degsy,

Thats one you pointed out has 3 bids and is up to 5 euro with 2 days of bidding left. I'll watch it and see what the final price is in 2 days and make mine 50% of it.

I saw this one on ebay in similar condition from an antiques dealer for 20 pounds sterling

I looked at completed transactions in ebay and i saw ones in my condition go for 15-20 so this was my logic of my pricing. for 50% of this.

My real query is if people actually buy these things as I can get more of them if so from someone I know. If I can see 100 of these at 5 pounds a go will be happy!

I collect them myself but i'd never buy one in that condition as its badly damaged.
If you get ones in decent nick send me a pm.
