Frequent blue screen of death - pic attached

    Hi,

I've been getting the blue screen of death frequently on my laptop (XPS M1330). Sometimes I will get it 2 or 3 times a night and other times I don't get it all. It only happens when I am surfing the net.

A few years ago I dropped my laptop, so I had to replace the hard drive. I also upgraded to Windows 7 at the time. Since then I haven't added anything to the computer, fiddled with anything etc. there is still 85gig of space on the hard drive.

Below is a photo of the message I get when the blue screen comes up. The blue screen stays up for a short while (long enough for me to grab the camera & take a pic anyway!). Any ideas on what the problem could be from the message?

    Thanks,
    Mel.b

Probably missing the correct/updated driver for the networking device. Though thats not the only thing that might cause the error. Go to the dell product page and make sure you have all the latest drivers.

This is a super little program (used it myself), I always throw it up on these BSOD threads, it'll read that "crash dump file" and tell you what program it leads back to.

    bluescreenview

Your computer needs to be set to save the dumps, it probably is already but there's a link on the site to tell you how to do it if not.

Edit: You should get some new coloured shade with a flower or something on it for that lamp.:p

The screen mentions ewusbnet.sys which is associated with Huwaii USB modems, Try downloading the latest drivers from the website of your Internet Service provider (three, o2, vodafone, meteor, etc.), uninstalling the Modem Drivers and install the latest ones.

here I was thinking to myself 'I'll never need that' - 5 minutes later Bewwwwwwwwwp... BSOD. And not even a regular bluescreen either, a miscolored Blue Screen.

    Damn GPU.

Sorry to hijaclk a thread but you guys seem to know what ye are on about.

I have run bluescreenview and my question is now what. I have 17 dump files listed and each of these has approx a 100 sub files in the lower pane

So now that I can see these files what do I do to fix the problems?

Any advice is greatly appreciated - please keep it simple:o
