Hi there we are heading off on a western mediterran cruise with Royal Caribbean in September we are just wonderin if they do formal nights and if so is it compulsory to go? Thanks a million :)

Hey Holly,

From my experience there's usually a formal night or two. The last cruise (Caribbean) I went on with RC there was two over a one week period.

They're not compulsory.

Depending on the size of the ship there could be two set dinner times, one of which you must sign up to. Usually 6pm or 8pm. I'd recommend the 8pm one.
