Ok its one of the best shows RTE ever made and i enjoyed them all the first 367 times i saw them but come on is it not time RTE give us something new for the 6.30 summer slot ? If not something new at least they should repeat a show thats not been broadcast 900 times the past couple of years.

I just wish they would put it on the RTÉ international player :(

If you have SaorView you will be able to watch it again on RTE +1 at 7:30pm.

No need to thank me. :D

I never get tired of it.

Keep them coming, better than 'Nationwide Revisted' or the ususal rubbish they have on in the early evening.

Maybe they're working up to show repeats of the noughties. Missed that season the first time around.

Unbelievable that they can get away with showing this so many times. 1999 on now and it seems the only music of that year was from Wasteoflife, Bewitched and Ronan Keating.

    Anyway, I've now switched off.

    Orange pilled.

I'd like if they repeated that series "Hands", very interesting to see the old ways of doing things.

Anyone see Reeling In The Years last night (Sunday 22nd)?

    Was it 2008?

That's what was advertised but I have a hunch it may have been 2009.

    Thanks.

    Yes it was 2008.

Highlights of that year, according to the show, were that Carlsberg ad where the lad starts splurting Irish phrases to impress a pub full of foreigners, and some Des Bishop documentary.

They went back to the well too quickly with the 00s one. The key to the show's success is nostalgia. Jogging people's memories of events that shaped the country we live in today. They didn't give us time to forget. All the events in the 00s felt like they only happened yesterday.
