    I don't think it is legal to take Yuan out of China, so no, banks can't sell them. You would be probably be able to find them in the likes of Thomas Cook (if they still operate in Ireland?), but not in large quantities and you'll get done on the rate big time.

    You used to be able to get it in Thomas Cook at the bottom of Grafton street, now thats gone I have no idea where you would get it apart from a UK airport.
