Washing Straw Hats

    Hey, I was wondering if anybody knew the best way to go about washing a straw hat, I don't think the washing machine would be a good idea; might destroy it.

    I steam mine occasionally and leave it sitting flat on a table till it drys outs and regains it's shape. Some hats might collapse as the fibres take the heat so I 'block' them by stuffing the crown with a towel to keep it's shape.
    I'm not saying it's the best way but it works for me.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
