Corsa switch for air vents issue

    Hey all,

    My girlfriend has an 2002 opel corsa 1 litre and is having some issues with the switch to turn on the air to the vents to demist windscreen etc. The switch has 4 different settings and in settings 1,2 & 3 the fan will not switch on and there is absolutely no response. In setting 4 the fan works.

    Just wondering if this is likely to be an issue with the switch itself or something entirely different? Any suggestions bearing in mind my knowledge of cars is minimal or would the best course of action just be to drop the car to the garage and get then to sort it out? I am away myself at the minute so won't be able to see the car until friday.
