Tourists held as doctor fighting for life after assault

    Doctor is clinging to life today after being brutally assaulted in Temple Bar.

    The 26-year-old medic received serious head injuries in the incident and remains critical at Beaumont hospital, where he also works. [more]
    Very sad.....

    I hope he makes a full recovery!!

    Just to drift a little, a good few years back Canada played Ireland in Rugby. After the game i bumbled into this Canadian girl (and was very pleasant on the eye). Transpired she was part native Indian and I, having then recently seen a film called Black Robe - which all there family/tribe have had a part - I found myself ion good stead with this young lady and I took it upon myself to be her tour guide for the night.

    All went well till we bumbled into a French lady in a bar- the two of them had a real verbal cut off each other. It was very interesting.

    I used to only think stupid stuff like this ONLY HAPPEND IN THE US!

    Anyone heard any updates on the doctor?
