Only on the bike a week and made the rookie error of dropping it while trying to turn in to a gate way - just paniced and went for the front brake:mad:

has anyone any advice on how to temporarly get rid of the horrible white scratches. I've just paid for the bike, the insurance and the IBT so can't afford replacement parts yet!

You can get touch up paint to fill in the lines or get a coloured polish, but be careful as if you're too aggressive you can do more harm.

Just sit tight and treat them like a badge of honour :)
When you have the cash, get a proper respray/paint correction done.

If the scratches aren't bad you can get them out with some rubbing alcohol and some polish. If you google 'how to remove scratches on a motorbike' you'll get lots of results.

If you want to paint it yourself heres a good video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG4ex1Q4Xak
