    http://www.cultofmac.com/leaked-internal-policy-says-how-many-dead-pixels-it-takes-to-get-apple-to-replace-a-faulty-display/67702

if the above link is legit (internal apple document on apple's dead pixel policy) it looks like you will need to find a few more

There is an unofficial agreement between the various manufacturers which essentially defines the 'acceptable' number of bad pixels on different size screens, this basically lays down the threshold below which they will not replace the device under warranty.

The attitude is: 'If you want Rolls-Royce perfection then you can pay for it'. If manufacturers had to replace every screen with one or two bad pixels then the cost of displays would increase, there is a happy medium which keeps the price down on the basis that in certain cases people simply have to put up with a relatively small number of bad pixels.

Isn't DOA on macs 14 days rather than 28 days. They won't DOA it for 4 pixels anyway.

OP, you could try rubbing the affected pixels gently with a soft cloth, sometimes they are stuck, rather than dead.
