I'm looking for a nice but cheap frame to build a single speed for getting around on.
Steel or alloy are grand but I would prefare a thinner tubing steel frame.
I don't want to spend more than €150 but €100 is closer to what I'd like to spend.
Condition doesn't have to be great but I would rather it didn't look too bad. Not interested in rust buckets.

    Cheers lads.

Ah, I would leave out the most important part.
56-58 would be what I'm looking for.

I've got a recently stripped down 23"/58.5cm chrome-moly steel frame from an Elswick tourer, late 70s-early 80s, if that's any use to you. Depends if you're wanting to do your own paintjob, I suppose, or going for the original retro look.

I could be interested, how much would you be looking for?

I've got another frame sorted in exchange for other bike bits so I could afford a second project frame.

I'd be looking 50 euro but I'd throw in the forks as well for that if you wanted them - my son lost interest in his project when he found a ready-made bargain!

In that case I'd love to take it but it'll be two weeks about 'till I can afford it if that's alright?

Yeah, there's no rush on that score, take your time. Whereabouts are you? Would you want to pick it up or have it sent?

I'm in Tallaght but I can get around a bit on public transport so meeting you somewhere might be handy?

City centre would be your best bet as I'm northside.

Sounds perfect, we can decide on an exact location closer to the date. :)
