Has anyone done a Risk Assesment for their Coillte lease and if so, is there a good template that one can copy and paste from?

I cant understand why this is requested The 2005 Act looks at employer employee relationship, key thing here you must be an employer and you are doing this for a buisness.

My advise would be use the UK model and remove any mention of the legislation. Do a simple cloumn type spread sheet with the following headings.

Activity: Hazards (i.e Anything with potential to cause harm)
Risk (chances someone will get hurt) use high low medium for handiness
    Control measures required.

If you think about what you are going to do Deer stalking you can picture the hazards such as

    Activity: deer stalking

    use of loaded firearm
    slip trip and fall
    Noise
    interaction with the general public
    Manual handling
    Biological agents
    Taking the shot
    use of knives.

I dont want to get carried away but you get the idea, same way i'm not getting into a debate on which risk assessment methodology is best:D

PM me if you want more info and Ill take you through it
