Probably been asked 100s of times before but I can't find a simple answer. I want to block porn sites etc, kids are at that age, can someone help please. I use Google chrome but I guess will need to be able to block across the board.
    Thank's.

One easy way to do it would be using OpenDNS:
-Create an account on OpenDNS and select the filter options you want
-Install the updater client on one of your computers
-Go to your router homepage and change the DNS settings to the OpenDNS servers

That will affect all computers on your network, although it is very easy to get around if someone is determined.

Another way is to install filtering software on each computer. Netnanny seems popular but it isn't free. Windows Live Family Safety is a free alternative from Microsoft themselves. I havent used any of them so I cant give a personal recommendation but maybe have a look.

Thanks, I'm downloading WLFS to see how it goes. I know that you can block individual sites but you would be at that forever.

There is Net nanny you can download it from eircom or what ever broadband provider you have from their website or download it generally from online. There is software out there to block those kind of sites.

Be aware of Proxy servers OP, easy to get passed blocked websites through proxy sites.
