It's not available for Groups, just Pages.

As the first replier said, it needs to be a fan page not a group page, which are less user friendly IMO.

The 'Like' button is at the top of every Fan page - to the right of the page name.. If you already 'Like' the page it doesn't appear.

You can also add the Like button functionality onto your web page.
