Archiving recorded programs off UPC box onto a usb hard drive..possible ??

    Hi all,

    As the title says. My UPC box is getting rather full and rather than deleting what I've recorded , is it possible to archive off what Ive recorded onto a usb hard drive ?? There is a usb port on the box alright, whether it can be used for that purpose I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    I'm afraid you will have to go the manual route, of hooking up a VCR/dvd recorder and playing/recording your content.

    Like with SKY, the USB port on the box may well have some functionality, but TPTB have not enabled it. :(
