    How much should I pay to install a new machine and can you recommend someone in Lucan area please.

    Also just as FYI on charges by big shops, delivery plus fitting

    DID = 75 Euros
    Currys = 45 Euros

    I collected myself and now like someone to install it.. Thanks

    if there was a machine there before, sub 5 minutes worth of work, and no expertise required.

    It all depends on a few different things but i imagine you will not normally get a trades person for less than 50 euro if there was no machine there already.

    If there was a machine there and all the piping is there is a five minute job for a DIYER

    if there was no machine there and its next to the kitchen sink its still not a big job however tapping into the mains might require confidence although most DIYERS use salf tapping washing machine valves to rule out trouble and then a P trap with a spiggot.

    Don't forget to read the manual and make sure you remove the various bolts used to secure the drum during shopping.

    Thanks for all the help, machine replaced after watching one video on youtube.. its really really simple.. All I needed was a pair of scissors to remove packaging

    Anyone wants to get their machine fitted let me know.. I will do for half price than DID :D
