Timoleague Abbey would be one place to see anyway. Only 5 mins from court mac

Beach 5 min drive behind the town with nice view of old head of kinsale.
Timoleague Abbey and inside of Anglican Church.
    To the east is Kinsale.
To the west clonakilty. Both worth checking out, maybe for an evening meal and a drink afterwards.
Near clonakilty theres inchadoney beach with surf lessons, red strand beach, beautiful galley head peninsula/ light house, castlefreke/longstrand beach, owenahincha beach. Really good area for walks and jogs. Rathbarry village also.
Glandore. A must for lunch and a drink in the sun on a sunny day, stop by at drumbeg stone circle on the way.
Near clon theres sams cross where mick collins came from and rosscarberry where tom barry, o donovan rossa and emmet came from.
Skibereen schull castlehaven if you want a trip further afield.
    Also an hour from city
