Youghal Triathlon??

    Any body have any info on youghal triathlon? :confused:

    Was on the TI calander and they were taking entries... But seems to have disappeared and have stopped entries on their website?

    Is this cancelled? I will enter a different race the same weekend if it is but don't want to be stuck with 2 race entries!

    Similar thing happened last year - website was down for ages etc, couldn't find any info on it but I emailed the race director and he got back to me promptly tommyr@iolfree.ie

    Tis the one and only triathlon I've done and I found it a very well organised event and a great advertisement for the sport for a newbie.

    Hi There,

    Ya its after been Call off, something to do with Road work's, Sorry dont know anymore that that.
    Pity as its a good race.

    I sent them an email last Thursday when I heard the rumours but haven't had a reply yet.
    I'd like to see some official confirmation before I make alternative arrangements.
    Will post if I get a reply.

    Ya have tried to contact but heard nothing.

    And now I find out Lough Key is sold out on the same day.
    Looks like I might have the weekend off afterall.

    It was in the Irish examiner today that the race is cancelled. Due to roadworks and a lack of a safe alternative course.
