    Hey guys,

Can anyone suggest a good UK Olympic distance triathlon for next summer??
    A good atmosphere is a must :)

    Hey El D,

There are a number of ones listed over on the Tri Talk events page, with good input from a lot of folks.
I've a couple of mates who have done Windsor and Blenheim - both recommended.

Ive every intention of doing Windsor next year - I know the area and have family near by and Ive always heard good things re: atmosphere.

I've done London; it's a great spectacle but far too big with no real athmosphere.

Thanks lads, I was watching the London Tri (the Virgin Active one), the city bike course appealed to me I must say. But Windsor sounds good too, especially if Interested takes the plunge ;)

With the London tri (the one that uses the excel ctr as the transition) there are 2 bike courses-one goes into the city centre past all the sights whilst the other uses a less picturesque route. I did it 2 years ago and on the day I was racing there was something like 15 waves of a few hundred in each wave - it is a huge event. Even getting to the event was an ordeal with all the road closures and the traffic.

I've always liked the look of Windsor.
