Disability Allowance Arrears

I picked up my first DA payment last week after a wait of 72 weeks, due to an appeal. I just got the flat rate of 188. I had been receiving 186 from the CWO pending the outcome of the appeal. In the letter I got, I was also awarded living alone allowance and fuel allowance backdated to March 10. It says arrears will follow at a later date ? I tried several times to phone but no joy. Will I be waiting long for the arrears to come through ?

The Cwo told me the systems are linked so they can see what I was receiving from her and deduct that from arrears. I am a bit confused !

It will take up to 8 weeks until you get your arrears. Phoning is senseless- they tell you it will be on your account next week just to get rid of you.
It is all done in their own time...but you will get every missing cent.

All money paid to you by cwo will be deducted from your arrears.
