    Hi,

Looking at finalising our wedding menu, a bit stuck with the fish main.
We're thinking of Cod or Seabass as a change to Salmon. The cod has a herb crust (not Batter!)

So my question is if you were at a wedding would you be happy with Cod/Seabass instead of Salmon. Not big fish fans so need some help.

    Thanks

Personally I way prefer cod or seabass to salmon. We changed our fish option from salmon to seabass and I'm so glad we did, it was so tasty and myself and the hubby are big fish fans (his dad's a fisherman lol). That's just my opinion though, best bet is ask the hotel co-ordinator which is more popular, that's what we did when we decided to go for the seabass.

I'd definitely go for Cod/Seabass over Salmon

Yeah me too, much prefere cod or seabass to salmon. Seabass isn't to everyone's taste though, but cod would be a popular choice I'd imagine

I would pick seabass. Thats what we had for ours & we had no complaints.

I hate fish but we're having seabass, my OH picked it because I haven't a clue. Apparently it's a popular choice beceuse it's a nice change from salmon.

Definitely not salmon anyway - cod/seabass has a much milder taste than salmon. There are a lot of people who love fish but hate salmon. So the white fish option would be the better bet. You could always go with monkfish or lemon sole - those are great choices too if you're looking for a mild white fish.

    Go with Cod!
Anyone who has a fishy background will know if they're given a 'seabass substitute' which happens far too frequently.
Besides cod is far more ethical than salmon & seabass.
Yum, yum, getting hungry at the thoughts... herb crust you say?

Definitely not Salmon, I love fish except Salmon and know loads more like me. It has such a strong flavour, definitely go with a white option, i'd love either
