    Hi Guys,

For my research dissertation next semester id like to focus on a topic related to game programming/design/AI in games.

Would any of you know lecturers who research or are interested in computer games specifically?

I've trawled the staff pages but haven't noticed anyone.

    Thanks

    RD

    Declain Tuite - Teaches Multimedia
    Mark Humphrys - Teaches AI

Those would be the first two who would spring to mind for me.

Declan Tuite seemed to be involved in lots of interesting interactive projects. Not 100% sure if gaming as such would fall into that but worth a shot. He'd probably point you in the right direction if it wasn't his cup of tea.

Mark Humphrys teaches the underlying theory behind AI in the School of Computing.

There are also a few grads in the gaming industry that you may be able to get in touch with through RedBrick or Gamessoc.
