Again, big spoilers this week, so the description is going in tags, the video promo is very short.
Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there's room for both Bill and Eric. Jesus tries to purge the restless spirit out of Lafayette; Marcus enlists Alcide to help him deal with the Sam situation; Bill and Nan Flanagan clash over their agendas; Hoyt asks Jason to make a delivery to Jessica; despite Tara and Holly's misgivings, Marnie plots her next move against the vampires, during a "Festival of Tolerance" event at Shreveport.

Conflicting sources originally on whether this episode is called "Run" as originally announced or "Let's Get Out of Here".

Edit: HBO calling it "Let's Get Out of Here" :)

Damn it, I said I wasn't going to read any more spoilers, but I just couldn't help myself! :S

Jaysis, Sookie is chock full of men's vamper juice.

Very disappointed with this episode, not much actually happened...

HATED the threeseome dream, its only saving grace was seeing Viking Erik back on form (good God he is hot ;))

HATED the whole exorcism / Creole lady gone to heaven bit. Ridiculous end to that storyline. I mean, I guess it's setting things up for the finale but FFS, it was like Touched By An Angel

The scene with Jessica and Nan was great though, and I thought the scenes with Debbie were good too, I genuinely didn't know what she was going to do and I was all edgy when she was on screen.

    But overall - meh.

I really enjoyed that episode. The threesome dream was brilliant after she had Bill's blood - as the blood causes that kind of erotic-ness.

Lafayette's acting and Sam's acting is brilliant with the taking over of the body stuff. I really enjoyed both storylines.

The Debbie Pelt storyline was interesting especially for those who have read the books - it is really opens what is going to happen, the books aren't followed completely so anything could happen with the storylines.

The witch storyline is coming on well.

I wonder where the fairies are gone - is there going to be anymore of them this series I wonder.

It was a good episode all in all - who knows what will happen yet.

    Getting soooo bored with this.

Anna Paquin really is a terrible actress. Her character has gone from the fun, quirky and tough heroine to some sort of sex doll. Its a shame really.

Best part of this episode was definitely Terry. He's a great character.

Its really gone downhill this season.

+1 to both of these points. Couldn't agree more, both Lafayette and Sam played it well this ep, and I genuinely felt unsure whenever Debbie was on screen.

I do have to say though, the threesome scene was not sexy IMO. Felt so contrived.

It was a bit of a filler episode. There's been some really great acting so far this season, but it's hard to see any momentum in the overall episodes because there are so many storylines.

I'm enjoying Tommy's story much more this season, but Sam's is really boring. From tonight's episode it did look like they're using Sam to bring in something with the werewolves, but if not, it's a needless distraction.

2 Scenes saved this episode. Jessica telling Nan her problems & then the Jason-Jess Taylor Swift backed pick-up truck sex scene. What was with the amount of TS placement in this episode??

The album was just a plot device to lead into Jason bringin the box over

and Haunted is relevant to the whole Jason-Jessica-Hoyt situation

Good ep, and there was a preview at the end of the credits. Looks like all sorts will be happenin next week! Still dont get how its gonna keep goin to climax in the finale.

Sookie is brutal at this stage, just a more sweary but upfront version of Bella Swann. :pac:

    No Pam. Lame.
Though the Nan and Jess scene made up for it a little.
Fairly average episode I thought. The Mavis/Lafayette thing brought it down a lot, especially the cheesy shining light ending.
Building up to an exciting end to the series though, hopefully the next 3 episodes should be fairly gripping! Looking forward to seeing Eric come back to himself (which he hopefully will!)

Really didn't like this episode. Too much time took up by the Lafayette thing which is really pointless and boring.
Tommy was actually mildly interesting this episode though.

I guess what really bugs me is that normally when a book becomes a tv programme they change the stories so they are a little simpler and easier to fit into a series.
However here it seems they have totally deviated from the books, but made it way more complicated with multiple useless storylines that add nothing to the main plot.

The storylines in the book run much more smoothly, have relevance to each other and actually make you care about the characters. In the programme it flips from one storyline to the next so quickly that you really don't get a chance to feel any empathy for anyone.

Hopefully next week will get back on track. Especially now the Lafayette thing is done.

what excatly was the point of the dead creole woman and baby storyline? i found it completely pointless. This season is an improvement on Season 3, BUT only because there is less of a werewolf prescence. I like the whole necromancy/witches storyline but find the fairy thing stupid. I started watching Season 1 of True Blood because of the Vampire Storyline. Nearing the end of Season 4 it feels more like a general Supernatural show than a Vamp tv show! Im a bit disapointed but hopefully the finale & season 5 will be better!

what excatly was the point of the dead creole woman and baby storyline?

Was all about Arlene's pre-conceived idea that the baby would be evil

So then all the creepy stuff start happenin and even the viewers thought he might actually be evil

random filler, thats all it is. Also just makin use of the fact Lafayette is a medium

Lovin the whole Antonia witch plotline. The victim is now the baddie! and its nice to see the vampires finally being genuinely scared of someone for once

I dont get the point of Tommy pretendin to be Sam and going to Marcus...?

And I dont get how they're gna spread the finale out over another 3 episodes...

I think that was the main point of it all,and it could have easily bene done shorter and probably without the baby thing but basically it was all about Lafayette as I would imagine he will have something to do with taking down Antonia.

Being a medium seems like a raw deal in True Blood world. If you can see dead people they can take possession of your body.

I dunno about True Blood right now.... I've gone from eagerly awaiting the latest episode, to having it downloaded and thinking, 'I'll watch it in a few days'.

This one in particular, I just switched off half way through.

Dunno what's happening, but I seem to be loosing my total adoration of the series bit by bit.....

The show is gone the same Lafayette - hot and cold and now just a medium.

What I don't get is why Sam and yer one fear the alpha werewolf ex husband of hers. Could they not just shift into lions and eat him if they wanted? How is he that much of a threat?

Guilt over sleeping with Sam's new bird (whose name I can't be bothered to look up). What was he doing working back in Merlotte's though, I thought Sam told him he never wanted to see him again?

Marcus is such a tool, he wouldn't even frighten me.

And that threesome scene was terrible, I was embarrassed for Anna Paquin.

I've never gotten that either. The were creatures seem to just turn into the animal they are were of, like a wolf or a panther. So being a shifter is clearly superior, they can turn into a lion or a crocodile or a rhino and overpower the wolf or even turn into some sort of parasite and kill the wolf from within. Unless the weres can turn into an incredibly powerful amalgamation, half-man/half-wolf, like George and Nina on Being Human, they are only a fraction as powerful as the shifters.

The only thing they have going for them is the fact that they run in packs, so it would be hard for a lion to kill 17 wolves. But then again Sam and the woman met at a shifter support group, so along with Tommy, there are at least 5 shifters.

I'd be far more worried about a big pile of bikers showing up with shot guns than a big pile of fecking wolves

Total filler, the threesome thing was stupid tbh.
The whole black woman / baby story thing felt really dumb and tacked on. Don't we have more important things going on than this crap?

Best parts of the episode were with Bill which I rarely say anymore!
