Is this scope worth a buy?

Hi I am interested in getting started in the stars is this worth a buy?

I see the best offer is €60. On the face of it it seems a good buy BUT (there's always a but) you should have a look at the mirror (has it any damage etc.). Also find out what eye pieces are part of the package.

It will probably be quite difficult to test whether the scope is properly aligned unless you can get to use the scope after dark but if you get to see it during the day try to focus on a distant object and ensure it will focus properly. Also, try out the focuser and the tripod to see that they move smoothly.

I started out with this type of scope and it served me well for views of the moon and larger planets.

Looks like its in very good cond. and at a great price for the size of the scope (Perfect for beginners). I dont know much about the brand though, Im sure theres someone around here who can recommend it. You would want to get it quick though, someone has been counter-offered 60 by the seller so they could accept it at any time.

For €60 you really can't go wrong. Bear in mind a semi decent eye piece would cost that alone.
