It's regarded as a disregard and is not counted in the assessment;)
You need to give details of it tho as it may help u to be awarded a top up grant.

Am in the same boat, in 3rd year in college and my wife got a job, and we recieved a letter that detail of my college income, which does not make sense. so we rang the lady and she said its detail of grant... If the FIS is calculated with my grant it will not make us any much better, infact it will make us worse off... What to do, we striving but getting nowhere... :(
