No Audio

When I start my PC after about about half an hour I get this message

"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

    some info about it.

    "Error signature"

    szAppName : svchost.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2600.2180 szModName : ntdll.dll
    szModVer : 5.1.2600.2180 offset : 00021660

After I get this message I can't hear any audio on any mp3,wma,flac etc...files on any type of media players. Videos will play but there will be no sound. Same with you youtube or any or video streaming sites, the video will play but no sound

And when I try to open VDJ (and similur type programes) I get this message.
"Error in the sound drive of DirectX"

When I go to "Sound & Audio Devices" in Control Panel & go to the "Volume" tab all the boxes are grey. But when I go to the "Hardware" tab it tells me all the devices are working properly.

Once I turn off my computer & reboot it everything will be working fine again for about half an hour until this "Generic Host Process for Win32" pops up.

Anybody have any ideas whats wrong, could it be some sort of virus?

Sounds like a driver issue, try downloading the latest one? Also download and reinstall direct X to be sure.
