    Anyone know of any clubs in the area. Currently @ about 5 km level

    sorry I don't know but I heard there's walking/running club that is based in westside. they meet up at the church in westside on tuesday evenings I think 7 or 7:30pm I don't know if they're running during the summer. your best bet is online or through word of mouth.

    i think the fit4life group meet at westside and im sure theres triathletes running in knocknacarra or the prom area regular.

    Galway City harriers meet beside the library westside Thuesday and Thursday at 7.
