This post isn't exactly clear, Do you mean who has played the most matches this year?

I'd be guessing Darragh O'Sé of Kerry as he is the most capped player for Kerry (a record soon to be broken I may add) and had a lot of games over his career with the county.

I was leaning towards O'Sé myself although the name Mickey Sheehy rings a bell somewhere in the back of my head for this one?

Is this a trick question Big Tiny ?

Doyle from Kildare?? He recently scored in 50 ( or something like that) consecutive matches.

Darragh O'Sé made 81 Championship appearances for Kerry during his decorated career from 1994-2009 and won six All-Ireland medals, 9 Munster medals and a sackful of other accolades. He truely is one of the All-time greats. His younger brother Tomas is currently on 75 appearances for the county.

Mikey Sheehy by comparison had 49 caps.

Colm Cooper is currently on 63 caps and still aged 28 and if all goes well I expect him to top Darragh's record and possibly make 90 caps.

I always thought Sheehy had a longer record than that.

Like I said, his name was in the back of my head. I remember him being the answer to a quiz I was in some time back. Must have been a different question.

Kerry football ain't my strong point.

    Here's one.

Name the first county to win the Sam Maguire Cup?

In terms of current consecutive streaks Andy Moran is worth a mention, not only has he not missed a single championship game in the last five years for Mayo he's also played in every single league game in that period too.

Yep. 1928. And they haven't won it since.

Now, name the last county to win that same original cup ?

And Kerry have since won the new Sam 6 times since it was introduced and retained their title in 2007 becoming the first team since Cork in 1990 to do so.
