Samsung Europa Barcode Scanner Problem

    Hi all

    I got a Samsung Europa mobile on 3 pay yesterday.

    I really want to use it for scanning barcodes.

    I have downloaded 7 different barcode scanners, but can get none of
    them to read a single barcode off a CD or a book.

    Is this a problem because the camera is only 2 Megapixels?

    Here are the apps I've downloaded:

    ZXing team Barcode Scanner
    BarCode Terminal
    ixMAT Scanner
    ScanLife
    ShopSavvy
    QR Reader
    QRdvark

    The europa has a fixed focus lense and cannot auto focus which is what the scanners need to work. Theres nothing wrong with the phone but the camera doesnt work with barcode scanners

    Is there any pay app I could buy to help?

    I got one barcode to work, it was a bit of a shock to be honest.

    QRdvark works 9 times out of 10 on my handset. 4/5 inches away from barcode and in good light usually works for mine.

    It works fine for QR barcodes, will try QRdvark and 4-5 inch method.
