Got a set for €100 in Nevada Bobs in fonthill, can't recall what their called, waterproofness yet to be determined. They did have a set of Kartel wets on special for €66,seemed like a summer set to me though, very thin and light.

I think I have a different definition of cheap! Max I am willing to pay is €40 maybe €50 at a push.

Well bought some in America for $40 in a Walmart that kept me bone dry in Florida Rain so would expect to be able to find them for €50 no problem.

You'd get a decent umbrella for that, best chance of staying dry and staying on budget!

Where abouts did you pick them up?

Nice to get a serious reply apart from stupid remarks from people who clearly don't know what they're talking about.

Good quality raingear for golf is expensive simple as. Anything you get for 50 won't do the job, I've had many different brands and types and Sunderland and Galvin Greene are the only two brands I would recommend but you won't get much for 50 from either.

Thats not to say you won't get something waterproof for 50 or less you'll just sweat the balls off yourself walking around in it.

There's a lot of rain gear at TK Maxx which would meet the budget. I'm not sure you're going to get the highest quality but it's probably worth a look.

I got a Kartel waterproof jacket on e-bay for €2.50. Can't complain about it - it did exactly what was asked of it.

Cox's in Ballina. I think they were on sale you could get them in most good outdoor gear shops if you look around.

For your budget you will find something but it will be sweaty and noisy, See pennys are doing a rain suit not sure how waterproof it is but it will be in budget, as someone else said if you keep a eye out in TK maxx u might get lucky.
