What's the deal with foam parties? I never went to one because it just seems too stupid.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Is this that chatup line, 'Theres a foam party in my pants and youre invited' ?

I've never been invited to a foam party.

There are also clubs that have them. You don't have to be invited there...but why would anyone want to anyways?

I've been to maybe 2 or 3- a bit of craic when I was younger but wouldn't be bothered anymore.

Your skin feels absolutely disgusting after it, and you definitely shouldn't wear any good clothes. It's basically washing up liquid and water, which is terrible for your skin. You're soaking going home too.

A bit pointless all round really.

Ha, I'd be as surprised. I thought the post I quoted thought that was what I meant.

It isnt no secret the foam party first came around for the drug taking techo/dance fans. Lets be honest, for drug taking skangers.

Maybe in other parts of the world this is different but for Ireland, the UK and Ibiza... Its mainly a skanger/common as muck thing.

It does and as the ad says hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face while you are furiously dancing aroud the kitchen to your homemade foam party.

Used to be an essential part of rag week in Galway about 8/10 years ago. Great craic. Usually in Bogarts, GPO and whatever the hell club K used to be called. God I feel old now.

    They're actually pretty good
    drunken foam fights. epicness.
and after 10 mins people don't obsess about what they look like so everyone loosens up a bit

Never been to one and avoid them like the plague. When I go to a club a want to come home with a bird and/or pizza, not eczema like this lot :D

This was all the rage in small, provincial night clubs about six or seven years ago... I never saw the attraction... it's just bubbles, probably not something that you could enjoy while even remotely sober.
