Propane gas cylinder - full weight and empty weight

I have a 11 kg propane gas cylinder (Calor Gas, grey colour) for the barbecue and would appreciate if anyone could tell me how much it should weigh when full and how much when empty, the reason being I want to try and replace it just before it fully runs out.
The alternative is to buy a 2nd one to have on permanent standby but that means paying a deposit on that one too, having already paid a deposit on the original.
So any info on the full and empty weight would be appreciated, thanks.

No idea but do garages just take empties back for free if you dont want full ones?

Surely you should get back your deposit?
