New car 10k budget

    Hey all
    Landed my first proper job and want to upgrade the car. Currently have an 04 focus.
    I am only 22 and I don't really want a car that you see everyday on the road such as a golf/focus. But also I want something a bit unusual but not so unusual that every one looks at me when they pass, if that makes sense. Also I want something a bit sporty but not boy racerish.
    Budget: 10k
    Fuel: Diesel
    Engine size: 1.8 or 2l preferable
    Body: Sporty looking Saloon or hatch not really a coupe or convertible
    type of guy unless its an audi A5 but there definitely not in my
    budget
    Years: 07+
    Has to be reliable/cheep to maintain

    Have looked at a few cars and I think the one that has caught my eye for now is a BMW 320d/318d m sport, but I can't find anything around my budget. Something similar to this:http://www.carzone.ie/search/BMW/3-Series/trade-sa/201121202583264/advert?channel=CARS

    Others i have considered audi a3/a4, honda civic(the newer one 08+), lexus IS, Volvo C30/S40, Alfa 159(I know i said I want something reliable but the looks of this has won me over at least it is something pretty to look at while your broken down on the side of the road)
    Any one got any advice or suggestions on what I should get.
