Every so often I get this terrible feeling of dread. It's like "Oh ****, my future is fucked." Lasts for a week or so, then.

Also I get that other feeling all the time.

    CHUNG...... CHUNG........ CHUNG...........

No point in hating life ha. You'll be dead soon anyway. One thing I don't understand is depression. Not even sure if I believe in it.

Just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Oh yeah. I know what cures that.

    Fap, cigarette, beer, repeat.

If things are bad, all 3 at the same time.

Put your feet up, get a cup of tea/glass of wine/bottle of beer and watch a nice film, Indiana Jones or something ecapist. Does the job! :)

yeah...it seems a bit french or nihilistic something...more likely to depress you even more

but trust me when it comes to ways to masturbate if you think that's strange you haven't seen or heard the half of it

To the unemployable, unwashed peasants of AH, no.

When I think I might start to feel bad I stop and start feeling awesome.

You might not believe in depression, but depression believes in you.

The worst ever kick in the gut feeling I got was after my leaving cert chemistry exam a few years back.

I was so stressed out that I didn't sleep the night before and went in and did the exam, doing 4 out of 8 questions.

When I came out and had the usual post exam chat, people were going through the questions they did and all was fine until someone asked me, "what was your fifth question?". I felt an instant kick in the gut and realised I was meant to answer 6 out of 8. Worst feeling of my life.

Fast forward to results time, and I missed out on my course by 5 points, to say I was sickened would be an understatement. If only I'd answered those 2 questions!

So in the end, I ended up repeating the leaving and did very well second time around, the course I originally had wanted to do was introduced into a University nearer to me and I got my place and ended up with a 2:1 Honours Chemistry degree. I'm almost finished my masters where I will hopefully will come out with an even better grade.

It was that kick in the gut that made me who I am, I met some great friends repeating the leaving, and if I could do it again tomorrow, I would!

Two words is all you need OP, well one and a half "Fuck 'em"
When stuff gets on top of you that;s the only answer to it. Not worth it really, don't sweat the small stuff, if you're healthy you're fine

I've been expecting some bastardised version of Facekicker to respond to the OP with "Ever get that kick in the face feeling?"
