Searching for Information on Google

I have recently completed a search on my full name on google to embarrassingly find a profile on an online dating site called badoo. It's revealed everything about me apart from stating the wrong sex type I am. I never created this profile myself and really think that my information was obtained from a social networking site or my hotmail account. This is utterly embarrassing and head wrecking because I'm in a profession where this would cause avoidable embarrassment and don't want something like that being out on the net about me. I've tried contacting badoos webmaster but am still waiting for a response. i've also done a webmaster tool request page removal through google but that doesn't seem to be working either.
I would appreciate any help that can be given on the matter.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badoo
"Finnish newspaper Iltalehti reported that numerous Badoo profiles have been created without people's consent, and that people have reported Badoo's actions to the police."

A member of my family has been repeatedly spammed by Badoo sending invites from multiple "people" she doesn't know.

Ya I have got spam stuff from badoo but its all in french, annoying crap but never joined it cause I don't know anyone who is adding me. Anyway's I'd suggest you sign up to google (email) account and search on that think there is a feature to delete stuff like that but think it only deletes history of what you have viewed its a new thing. Any ways I'd suggest you go into websites that might have data on you for example 'pipl.com' profiles, '123people.co.uk' and similar websites like that will stop it from your name from certain websites from being searched. If You have never been signed on that website badoo then other's might have a similar name to you you can't do much about that but if you are signed on there should be settings to state 'name not searchable online' and change name to a nickname, makes you less searchable that way say if you have a social networking page.

If you have a social networking page, make yourself not searchable online but if you are friends with people whose pages are public there is no guarantee your name won't show up in the search engines! You can go onto these online profile websites that searches for people online and set it to not searchable also and you can remove yourself from searches I think on these websites have done so myself! It's all about getting rid of your carbon footprint online! Its imperative to keep an eye on it, cause sometimes what goes online stays online forever but there are ways to get rid of them if you have the means to do so!
