well lads.just said id ask here as some petrolhead might be able to help.ive a little 110 cc kazuma quad.got it 2nd hand about a month ago.gave it a good few hours driving.but after having in it on a bumpy lane for 2 days something went wrong.2nd gear is basically banjaxed!!
The quad itself has to be push started as the starter is gone.but 1st gear is fine.so is 3rd.anytime its in 2nd gear it makes a grinding rattling noise and puts little or no power out at all.any one know what the problem is?

The biggest problem is.........it's made in China.......the sad fact is - and we used to have one - is that there is no parts backup for a lot of those things. Not only that, the cost of repair often exceeds the value of the quad itself.

My next one will be a proper Honda/Suzuki etc, even if it's twice the price.

I did just that with a used motocrosser for my kids - bought a proper Honda one. The quality is obvious.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

If you have repair knowledge parts are not that hard to come by, all the china quad engines are the same within their cc be it, 90cc, 110, 150, etc. I rebuild a 200cc china and had no problem with parts...cc is the key when buying parts
