Don't know if this should be in Motors or Insurance forum: Mods feel free to move.

My car was hit this morning whilst parked in a car park, quite considerable amount of damage front bumper, bonnet is now out of place and unable to open possible the wing may have to be replaced basically the front of the car is now 1" west of where it started.

The car itself is only really worth €1500 00 Ford Focus Estate

The other party is yet to get back to me ref insurance etc

Will the Insurer "write off" the car if the value of repairing exceeds the value of the car?
