Thats my job for tomorrow... we are really just finding our feet and testing out production methods. We have it up on podomatic so it should be a relatively simple to submit it to iTunes but I've never done that before so I'll hit the tutorials and get it sorted.
We hope to produce it at least every two weeks.

I quite like that name Barry!

Well written Tom but i have to pull you on the age thing-James Gallagher fought on CC at 13 as far as i know and has fought on it a few times since, he has also fought on my show so i'm not having a go at CC-just pointing out that there is no age limit on events.

Even using that example which is rare is nothing comparable to putting 2, 8 year old's in an event and let's be honest-was a lot rougher than any event i've been too.

I remember Mark Leonard put on an exhibition(not fights) of his kids on Tribal Warfare and it was wonderfull and the crowd knew what it was and i think they enjoyed it, so although it was on an MMA event it was a totally different enviroment to the english situation and Mark knew this or would not have put them in to show off there skills.

Speaking from my own show's experience, in Rush the Teen's are treated great and the crowd are very good to both participants of the event, the main issue i have with teens fighting is if there in a bad atmosphere that they should not have to deal with or are fighting rules which are just unneccessary and potentially dangerous.

When I was a teen training in Kempo we put on displays breaking tiles and such. I don't think I had an abused childhood! (I actually loved it tbh).

I dunno about what happened "fado fado" in MMA but things have changed. We are growing up as a community and industry. Sure the first UFC's look like horrible freakshows these days. Boxers with one glove on and one off etc. Some mad things happened!!

But now we understand our own sport better and have more experience. The sport has matured. I dunno what happened before (there are many here with more experience in irish MMA than I, by far!) but I would personally be very unhappy if the 16+ rule wasnt observed by promotions.

Congrats on getting the podcast up Devore, I'll download it once I get home and out from behind the content filters here at work!
I recently started my own podcast which you can find on the Is It A Bicycle Podcast Website
I have it up on iTunes and I would be happy to help you do that, its not that hard once you have done it and I can help you avoid a couple basic mistakes that are quite easy to make.
I'd also like to share notes in general as we are not long casting either and learning a lot as we go.
