Yep will give it a go. There was big hype around it when it began in the US, but didn't hear much about it as the Season went though.

    Not really spoilers but
Starts off quite strong. Dips a bit in the middle when Lucrezia falls under the spotlight and Irons gets sweet eff all to do. Picks up a bit when they bring in the French King before it ends miserably.

What time ? Saw the trailer a week ago and forgot about it since.
It does look good. Cheers for the reminder. :)

2 episodes too tonight, I think.

What did people think of this? I had high hopes but wasn't really impressed.

The girl Lucrecia (sp) really annoyed me. Why did they cast a blue eyed blonde as a Spanish girl - just doesn't make sense. Also I found the questions she was asking were just inane - I know a certain amount of exposition is needed for the audience but this was ridiculous. It was like she'd never opened her eyes and ears in all the time she'd been in Rome and hadn't a clue what was going on.

It's only 9 episodes so will tune in next week purely for Jeremy Irons but can't see this being very successful.

I watched it last saturday and I enjoyed both episodes. But that might have been because some of the characters are featured in the video game "Assassins Creed". I'll give it another go this week.
