As not everyone is a member of Facebook, perhaps you could give a brief description of the basses, where stolen from, etc

Oh ****e, I thought anyone could view that member or not...

The basses where stolen from a car in Kells

One is a Fender Jazz in Olympic white, the other is a squire p-bass special in charcoal - distinctive colour for the squire model.

both have a lot of sentimental value.

Those are lovely basses alright. Best of luck in finding them.

A good idea would be for people to keep an eye on "Adverts", "Gumtree" and "Buy and Sell". If something similar comes up on "Adverts", ask for the serial number, then PM the OP to see if they tally. If the seller is reluctant to give the serial number....suspicion.

Can you elaborate any further ? I do enjoy a good story. If you don't want to or wouldn't be bothered, that's cool.

Great to hear that they were recovered. I have my guitars insured but their sentimental value is not something that can be replaced or have a value put on it.
