Water Damaged 3G

hey, so I Have a water damaged iPhone 3g. The two external sensors are still white, but one of the internal sensors is pink. At this stage, I'm more interested in fixing it myself. Does anyone know the best way of going about it, or how I'd test to see what parts etc I need?
