I had Digiweb's tooway satellite broadband service installed in the past few days and i have to say the service is brilliant!!

I'm getting speeds of 5Mbps on average and i'm delighted.

I browse the web, download some music, facebook and buy some stuff on ebay and the service is perfect for this.

Two of my neighbours also have the service and we are all more than happy with what we got. We're paying €20 per month (for the first 3 months).

I think some people on here give satellite an unfair deal; for people like me its a great service. I was almost put off getting it due to the negative comments on here but one of my neighbours showed me their connection and i ordered without delay.

Satellite might not work great for online gamers or people who download heavy, but this does not describe everyone.

That is good to hear. I am sure as Satellite technology gets better and faster, and the download allowances become more in line with regular BB, then more and more people will be delighted to give it a go. I am seriously considering taking the plunge too, but the only thing putting me off is the download allowance. I am not into on-line gaming, but I do like to download lots of data, hence the reluctance. I’d be happy with the 25GB per month if it was about half the price... €130 a month is way more than I am willing to fork out on any type of broadband.

But good luck to you with your Digiweb Satellite BB. You sound happy with the service and that's all that matters. Pay no heed to those who run down Satellite BB, most of them have alternatives the rest of us haven't.
