    Flatscreen tech is not mature , it wont be for a long time , and to get any kind of a quality screen you need to stick with the main players.

    That means Panasonic , Samsung , LG , and a very few others.

    They hold all the patents on flatscreen tech , the likes of Alba are awful muck , and buying them from argos is worse again as your paying a premium for it.

    What you want is acheivable under budget and from a main player , if theres a power city near you then go and have a look.

    Similar deals to be had from the likes of DID , and so on , quality Saorview compatible 32 inch sets from Samsung , LG , etc. are all available for well within your budget. Dont waste money on sub standard rubbish like Alba.
